Join us Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 3:00 pm as we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. We will sing Martin Luther’s own hymns, metrical psalms that came out of John Calvin’s congregation, and then see how that Reformed tradition of psalm-singing influenced Anglican worship and English hymn-singing.

Remembrance Day Choral Evensong Sunday, November 12 at 4 pm. St. Margaret’s Chapel, 30 Harden Hill Road. Duxbury, MA 02332. A service of prayer and song led by the Sisters and members of the Schola Cantorum of St. Stephen’s Church in Providence. No glorification of war. Simply a remembrance. The Schola will sing the Preces and Responses of William Byrd, the Evening Service of Richard Farrant, and I Heard a Voice by Thomas Tomkins. All are welcome to join us as we honor Remembrance Day.
Please join us for our Thanksgiving service at 9:00am on November 23, 2017. The service will last an hour and conclude with coffee and cookies on the porch.
Enjoy a personal prayer week at St. Margaret’s Convent Dec. 12th-17th, 2017. Your personal prayer week includes days of silent prayer supported by the Eucharist and Daily Office; guidance is available if requested in advance. The cost is $375 for room and board. All retreats require prior registration and a 50% non-refundable deposit. Space is available for both men and women. Check-in after 1 pm & check-out by 4 pm.
