A significant element of our ministry here in Duxbury is offering a tranquil, contemplative space for all who visit. St. Margaret’s Convent is located in the beautiful coastal town of Duxbury, about 38 miles south of Boston.
Guest accommodations are available from Tuesday to Sunday. There are two guest houses: St. Marina’s, overlooking the bay, which has 9 bedrooms; and the Farmhouse, a recently renovated 18th century homestead with 4 bedrooms. These facilities are not handicapped accessible. All buildings and grounds are smoke-free.
Guests come for a variety of reasons, most seeking spiritual refreshment and a setting of restorative quiet. Some come for a day or even part of a day; others for up to five days. We welcome both individuals and groups.
Guests are welcome to attend the daily worship of the Community.

12 noon An Order of Service for Noonday
5:00 pm Evening Prayer
7:30 pm Compline
(On Mondays there is no corporate worship as this is the Sisters’ Sabbath Day)
Please note: For the safety of our sisters and guest, we expect everyone who visits the convent to be vaccinated and to have received all available boosters prior to arriving.
